Our configuration recommendation
For normal office operations with 30 employees, the basic version with one CPU, one GB memory and five GB disk space is sufficient.
If you want to record calls, as a rule of thumb you should calculate 1 MB of memory consumption per minute of call recording. For an office operation with normal telephone traffic with an average of 5 calls of 3 minutes each by all 30 employees per day, this would mean a memory requirement of 450 MB. So about 1.8 GB of storage per month.
If you have more than 30 employees and a lot of inbound traffic via an IVR or a queue, you should add one GB of memory and one more CPU core for every 30 employees more. However, you do not need more than 4 CPUs and 8GB memory, even for systems with more than 150 participants. You can adjust the CPU, memory and disk requirements at any time and monitor them well via the Ayrix dashboard. If you have any questions, just send us an email to support (at) ayrix.com.
